White out
Everything from the ceiling, to the walls has been, or is being painted. We’re getting very close to move in. Stick around to see the building really start to take shape. |

Cool, Cool, Cool, as an X Vw/Audi guy, i remember going to Todd when he worked out of a row home garage, then visited a few times up in chestnut hill.....
Is Todd still the CEO, running things or on some yacht? LOL!!! Is Garry L Giac still working together with AWE? Again, i have been out of the VAG picture. pardon me.

Todd is still CEO, but does get out on the bay still. We're still close with GIAC, definitely. |

Let there be light. A major upgrade from not only the existing lights in the building (which seemed to be candle burning), but the lights in our current building too. These fluorescent fixtures produce a much brighter and whiter light; a welcome change to the dingy yellow-orange cast of the previous light fixtures. This is a straight shot view down where the new manufacturing line will be, which will also then fan out at the end. We have also sealed the flooring in most of the building. Below is a view from the back of the future R&D area up to the extra wide vehicle entrance, and more. We didn’t stop there though, lighting in the rest of the building has been installed as the offices take shape. Below, you’ll see a view looking into the showroom from the AWE Tuning offices. Hard to see from here, but you’ll be able to visit and see R&D, manufacturing, and the dyno, from the comfort of the lounge. The future home of one AWE Tuning’s finest. Amazing what a difference some lighting can make. Stay tuned, it’s starting to look like headquarters! |

Taking Shape
Our new home is starting to look like the next chapter in AWE Tuning. With offices taking their final form, and our showroom getting a brand new garage door, tile flooring and giant windows all the way across. Entrance and Showroom windows installed. There’s going to be a cool “AWE Tuning Red” cover over the main door near where the discolored block is, to protect from the elements: This area below will soon house our sales and marketing teams, full open collaboration layout including open meeting areas. Directly across from the sales & marketing area will be the research and engineering team, including the prototyping team. One of the challenges in our current space is a long walk between the departments. Our goal with the open layout was to increase immediate communication to speed time-to-market and innovation. Engineering area seen here: Another must-have for us was to ensure that everyone came together at least once a day in a central chill-zone. That’s this below. A cafe-meets-break-room-meets-collaboration space, this section will be stocked with comfy seating, high-tops, a kitchen, and outdoor access. Most importantly, it’s a place for everyone to meet, whether they’ve been typing or welding all day. A view of the showroom from the soon to be reception desk. Room for cars, people and comfort. The glass garage door will allow visitors to see into the R&D area from the showroom, and also allow for easy placement of cars into the showroom without driving outside first. View of some of our the offices, including extra windows up top to ensure maximum natural light. Additional offices and break out rooms: She’s coming together! |

Right around the corner.
Our official move date is fast approaching, and with that our building isn’t just starting to look like our new home, it is our new home. As you’re reading this portions of the company are shuttling everything they need to the new space. Over the new couple weeks the entire company will slowly funnel into the new state-of-the-art facility. Holy shiny. This is the new R&D area. Prototyping / R&D lifts coming soon. Peering into the showroom from installations and prototyping. There will be a clear line of sight from the showroom into where the magic happens. Below, our new showroom getting the finishing touches. It’s about 600hp and a sofa away from being home. Another view of our showroom from the main entrance. Looking over reception into part of the office space, from the new front desk. Bathrooms on the left, looking back into the offices, our marketing and sales departments right up front in an open and collaborative environment. One of the new conference rooms - will be outfitted with a big (really big) monitor and we’re in the midst of finishing a custom conference room table. The new home of the finance team. Quick access for our engineering team to the installations and prototyping area. Note tile runway for the FARO arm - this was an important feature as the team is frequently rolling between “cars and CAD” and the ‘arm is a key member of the R&D team. The new engineering team area - open, well lit and ready for an easy flow between marketing, sales and this department. One of our favorite areas, the “cafe,” which will be a central location for all fabrication, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, prototyping, shipping and admin to come together for food, breaks and collaboration. Next up… you might even see some furniture! Thanks for following along with us, stay tuned as we update with final decor and really “make it home.” |

Research and Development. Developments.
Our brand new R&D area is getting the finishing touches. A quick shot of three of the five lifts that will make up the “lab” - in close proximity to the engineering offices (just on the other side of the wall on the left). And below, this is the “runway” for our FaroArm between the lifts and the Engineering offices, to ensure speedy scanning-to-conception. We are quickly wrapping up all the different areas in our new headquarters - stay tuned - we’re getting close! |

We’re in! It’s official. We’re in our new space! The entire AWE Tuning organization is now in our brand new state-of-the-art facility at 199 Precision Drive, Horsham, PA 19044. Still a ton of work to be accomplished to make it feel and look like home, but as of today:
We’re still working hard on the facility so stay tuned as she keeps coming together! |
