M359 - Anyone running a set?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
As the title suggests I was wondering if anyone is running the M359 wheels from the E92 ZCP? I like the idea of running them over winter in a 19x10 squared set up and pics would be welcome to see if they indeed work.

All I can find thus far

Glad that's not your car and just a pic on the internet. That's a tight parking spot for ultra compact cars. Not an M3!

It's the offset of the 359M wheels that bring the tire over the line

Looks good to me just the offsets are wrong. I would take the F80 ZCP wheels and paint them that silver color though.

Actually, a 10" ET25 is the perfect width/offset for a squared set in an F8x. No spacers, no rubbing, hella-flush.

Thanks for the pics. They work better than I thought, really like the black against the ymb

Will probably pick up a set to save my 666's getting wrecked with the salt. Few marks from last winter round the centre cap rim

What about the wheel bolt diameter? E9Xs are M12; F8Xs are M14.

Don't use the wrong bolts.

I am going to check this weekend, but it is not a matter of right or wrong bolt; one is for the E9X and the other for the F8X. Since the bolt's diameter is different, I don't think the F8X bolt would go through on a wheel designed to accept a smaller diameter bolt.

Reviving this old thread. I bought a set of brand new OEM 359M wheels from bmwpartsdirect.com. Got a smokin’ deal. Installed them with Future Classic 15mm spacers on the fronts and the standard tire sizes for the 19” wheels — 275/35/19 and 255/35/19.

I think they look amazing. People stopped me at the dealer before I drove off and asked me where I got the wheels! Pic attached.

I know this post is 7 years old now but for anyone else interested the F8x bolt fitment works perfectly with the style 359M wheel.

The 359M is such a classic “BBS style” wheel. Looks great on the f8x and e9x M. Nice choice!

Thanks so much. I think the style 359M wheels look completely sick on the F8x and really refresh the entire look of the car. Highly recommend to anyone considering running a set.

Thanks very much! I don't plan on lowering the car at this time. Road conditions in the Chicagoland area are not exactly the best, so I don't want to bring the chassis any closer to the roads...
