VIDEO: Pre-Production M4 Exhaust Start and Revs (CLEAR)

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
This M4 (and M3) were at the Long Beach Grand Prix this past weekend.

Yet another revving video, apparently the engine was still cold.

And btw, listen to the guy at 0:11.

That's pretty bad. I really hope someone can fix that noise.

MG looks fantastic here.

Still not loving the sound in these clips. I'm sure it'll be SOMEWHAT better in person (as is the case with every car in existence vs. sound clips) , but the car WILL need aftermarket assistance IMO.

Keep in mind the valves in the exhaust were closed off in this video. You can't go into sport + exhaust mode until after the car is completely warmed up

Sounds like the landscapers blowing the grass clippings off my driveway after cutting my lawn.

Oh come on guys, just try to say something positive for ones! It's not hard, it will not take your mojo away from you and you might even get hooked on this whole brightness of the cup is half full side of seeing things.

Someone's pretty insecure and needs people to help reaffirm his opinion.
Doesn't matter what the recording device is when there are a few vids showing the SAME sound.
That lawn mower idle sound maybe a little less once warmed up, but it's still going to be there.

Internet trolls don't need much more that a few videos to know everything.
I prefer a silencer to do just that, if I wanted it to be loud I'd get a boy racer back box on it, get over yourself.

Sounds almost identical to an e46. Not a great sound when cold that's for sure.

I don't mind the sound, it'll not sour the milk on the way home. I would also like to say, that if that guy has a prius, he has the best excuse in the world when it comes to matter of taste.

As a disclaimer, I own the equivalent of a prius from the world of fur, so my opinion has no merit.

VIDEO: Production M4 Start and Revs (CLEAR)

Here's an excellent video of the M4 revving hard to ~7k RPM.

Not exactly an S65, that's for sure.
