all i have to say about used 911 is "buy carefully". I got a garage queen from a good friend and it has eaten up more than it's share of my car maintenance budget in the last year.
Care to elaborate a little?

I’ll probably be looking at a 991.2 in a few years. Could have tried even this year but they’re still expensive, and maintenance scares me, especially as I would track it quite a bit.

P cars are generally very reliable. But, when things go wrong, the price can be painful.

I just parted with my 996tt for that reason. It was getting up in miles and after doing the 60K service and shelling out $6k last year and $5K the year before, I realized maintaining 2 older P cars was getting too expensive.

With a 991, you'll be fine for awhile.

Congrats. Did you buy from manhattan motors?
My 911s are new. My M4 is a daily now, but just like others have said I will look for a 991.2 CPO for a daily in the future.

Enjoy . . .

+1

It's a big $ in up front cost to go 991 though and if it's for heavy track use, 7cup needs to be considered. Why pay more for a street Porsche than a factory race car?

for street use, I'll keep modding my old car, thanks. Newer non GT cars have absolutely no appeal for me

I love my 964. I did have a 2014 GT3 that was amazing. I drove it for 2 years and was offered MSRP for it. Best "free" driving experience I've had.

Yep, I bought it from Manhattan Motorcars after driving a few different models. I went there for a 6MT Cayman GTS but really didn't like it.
