Sapphire Black protection?
"Buy now worry later" was the thought process when buying a black M4, now it's later, and I'm worrying every time I wash the car!
So near me there's an industrial park containing a highly regarded detailer who uses the G-Techniq product range, and next door to him is another place who are authorised Kamikaze suppliers and use that. Not know anything about any of this, does anyone have any input on which is the better option for protecting sapphire black? Or is it all much of the same at that level? |

Yea PPF is a bit overkill, I love the car like I gave birth to it but I'm under no illusions... I'll be handing the car back in 3 or 4 years time and trading it in for the next gen, so I can't justify an expensive PPF wrap. But I do want to look after it within reason. I wash with two buckets and grit guards, microfibre cloths, but I'd heard about these protection lacquers which could keep light scratching at bay hence the original question.
Hadn't heard of that Optimum stuff, I'll check that out thanks! |

My BSM F80 is getting a full wrap as we speak at Envious Detailing. I have OCSD and hated worrying about rock chips or swirl marks on the car. So hopefully after the car is wrapped, I'm not going to worry anymore and actually just drive the car.
