WTB: F80/F82 LCI Carbon Fiber Dash Trim

Looking to purchase carbon fiber dash trim from an LCI F80/F82. I have pre-LCI trim that I'm willing to put up as a partial trade or I'll buy outright.

Let me know if you have a set that you're willing to part with

The 3 Carbon Fiber pieces are the same for pre-lci and lci F8x as confirmed by realoem.com. We are just talking trim, not vents themselves etc. as you use your current one for that.

Only 1 part has even changed and that was after only 2 months in 6/2014. There is no difference.

I'm not sure why realoem doesn't list different part numbers for LCI trim. BMW added a silver (matte chrome) highlight around the HVAC vents on both dash pieces (the center console trim doesn't look any different). That silver highlight is definitely part of the dash trim and not on the HVAC vanes. On the pre-LCI trims, there is a gloss black groove there.

Because that is the vent.

As stated previously, the actual vent is NOT included with the trim.

You can buy the vent separately.

You really are going to let a set get away for $600 when you are offering $800?

I think you're wrong about what the part the silver highlight is married too. Despite what realoem says.

Take a look at the below pics. I can't say if the vents are pre or post LCI, but it seems to me that save for the vanes and the rotary control, nothing else is visible.

I'm not saying that the center grills didn't change with the LCI. I am saying that I don't think the change to the vent included a addition of a silver highlight. I think that the highlight belongs to the decorative trim piece.

Here is ECS tuning's listing for the LCI part number that you posted. Just like the pics I posted above, the silver highlight isn't present...

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/64229347436/

As I type this, I recall that the center portion (the piece that houses the hazard switch) of the center grill got a more rounded profile (vertically). Which would be one explaination for the different part numbers.

You're right I just swapped my trim for the carbon pieces I ordered and didn't realize the aluminum is not on the vent. So now my passenger vent is the only one with the aluminum trim around the vent. I just got the car and didn't realize this until after installing. I wish I found this forum before I purchased them and installed them. Now I'm on the hunt for the lci parts too.

Unfortunately i have already sold that trim.
Do you want the radio trim too? Because i will be parting with that soon as well.
