Wow. Started to write a response but then wondered why I would bother.

I agree that BMW M has lost its way. I have had multiple M cars. I am a fan boy. But I am out of here - had enough. AMG can at least make an engine that sounds good. And I couldn't care less whether it has a carbon or a steel drive shaft.
