It's clear the F8X chassis is superior to it's equivalent competitors. With all the hoopla behind the "Ferrari" derived V6 making 60 more horsepower than the ZCP, the QV is still noticeably slower on the track according to pistonheads and Drivetribe.

what would you say is the explanation on the last sector for the big time difference when in the prior sectors the Quad & ZCP M3 were much much closer??

...thanks for the useless response. maybe someone more intelligent here can offer up an explanation???...up until that last sector..the times & speeds were very close to one another....to have a 2 second drop off is just odd

and I was not driving the cars in the comparison..and for me I just found it odd...not that the ZCP did what it did...but all through the sectors they were close until the final one where there was a huge gap...was it the track layout at that point?? where the ZCP was able to hustle around much quicker?? are we going to go back and forth here...like little kids/fanboys??

so then it would be interesting to put both cars on the Pirelli and then both on Michelin ....I know that the Michelin come in the OEM size for the Alfa..not sure if Corsas come in the M3 sizes.

Tbh, money for power you would have to be dense not to buy the Alfa. I think it's a prettier, better sounding and overall faster car. Reliability remains a factor still as they are new but so far the F80 can't hang with it. I really try to like the F80 but I think the engine really did it in on this. It's like a hybrid S54 and N54 sound which to me is not a fantastic sound at all.

I find it interesting, he's talking about which car is more fun to drive. But for me the most fun is the one with a stick shift. Just cannot fall in love with any of the automatics...
If that were different it would be foolish not to consider the other two cars. As is, no interest.

It's always funny to watch these things. I have an F80 and the c63s and I completely disagree. I think the M is much easier to drive and feels more sure footed. I prefer the M much over the AMG
