hmm, mine would re-adjust automatically based on which key fob is present on the person that opens the driver's door. Works the same as on my 2011 X5.
If I open the passenger door first, car ignores the key fob in regards to the seat and mirror pre-set adjustments and stays put, until I open the driver's door with the key fob in my pocket.

It actually should benefit.... map updates, bmw apps, anything that uses data will run significantly faster and should be more usable.

Ok, mine has not worked this way from day 1, even had the BMW "Genius" try to set it and it did not work. I'll have to schedule time with the dealer, so they can look at it. I thought it was weird, because my E90 had this feature too.

You have to change this setting on EACH driver profile. Go into the menu > settings > door locks > and CHECK THE FIRST BOX. (first box says something about last seat position or something like that)

Thanks, but that's how the genius set it, and it still doesn't work.

Funny you should ask, the tie down clip for transportation in the right rear panel in trunk, wondered where that was.

My old M5 came with a first aid kit that actually I used quite often, kinda miss that standard piece of equipment under the trunk lid.

Beside being the first one at the scene of your wreck, you could also provide immediate first aid to the people you injured., JK

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but - I've noticed that my gas mileage is significantly better than my F10 535... That, was surprising to me, considering I remember going to the gas station every 48 hours in my e92 M3...

And, for the record, I tend to drive like an a$$hole, so the mileage thing is really shocking to me...

If you pick up your car via European Delivery, your car still gets the first aid kit

That trying to use my face to bend the noisy screaching dust covers on the way out to dinner probably could have waited until later. . . And also that using your face to try and do such things is actually not recommended.

The Harmon Kardon sound system is actually not that bad once I spent some time tweaking the equalizer, bass and fade settings. And I love that I don't need to have my iPod hard wired in to play my music anymore. It all comes out beautifully from my Bluetoothed iPhone!

Yeah, but the Bluetooth audio sounds horrid.

Its really not that bad. I use google play music over bluetooth, and after tweaking the internal phone equalizer as well it really doesn't bother me. In fact I don't notice a difference between plugged in mp3 vs streaming google play over bluetooth **most of the time. some tracks don't have the same quality but that's the drawback of the convenience factor.

Its not nearly as bad as listening to the same radio station on Sirius/XM and then putting it on FM (if you live in one of the areas where this is possible, try it some time. . . You'll never pay another Sirius bill in your life, it is that bad). Holy bee-geesus does Sirius/XM sound quality suck my ass when you get to do a direct side by side. FM HD really isn't too bad, its just a shame all the music they play is complete shit.

The only thing I use Sirius for is news and NASCAR other wise it is a waste. The sound to me does not matter so much as the crap they play. Loved XM when they were separate.

Agreed Sirius is terrible, was decent 10 years ago.

Bluetooth vs. stereo mini-jack might be a wash, but if you can connect your phone via USB it's quite a noticeable step up from Bluetooth in my experience.
