M Track Days - Homestead

Anyone going to the BMW M Track Days event at Homestead speedway next month? I signed up for the Saturday morning session. I did it last year and had a great time, looking forward to getting out there again and driving the new M5

Yeah. Me and my buddy are going on Friday for a half day session. I am looking forward to some seat time in the F90 as it is on my short list for the next car.

is the half day session going to involve driving the F90 M5 for sure? i got some literature in the mail and it said the full day session would feature the M5 for sure. it was a little ambiguous whether the half day participants would get to drive it too.

Do any of you all know anyone who signed up for a Half Day at Homestead, but didn't like the time slot they got? Husband and I have half day afternoon session on Wednesday, June 13th, and I'm looking to trade for any session on the 12th, 15th or 16th. Just learned I have a work trip to TX now for 13th and 14th that I can't move (already missed my Spartanburg delivery for work, so really don't want to miss this, too). BMW event runners say all sessions nationally are filled, and I don't want to risk my husband's slot by going onto the Waitlist. Grateful for suggestions on where else to post. Thanks.

total0wnage and I are flying down from Jersey on Friday and are scheduled for the Saturday June 16th - 12:15 PM - 5:15 PM Session and concerned about how the weather will play out.

For those doing it throughout this week, keep us posted on how your experience was and if there was any cancellation/delays.

Kinda sucks if it's raining and we aren't able to push the M cars to their maximum capabilities

Hope it works out for you but right now the forecast is calling for afternoon storms (which is virtually every day this time of year).

Yeah that's what I'm seeing in the forecast as of now too, looks like you are dodging it with the morning session.
I called the customer service phone number and they said it would only get rescheduled/cancelled depending on severe weather conditions, so I'll have to play it by day and see. Just wanted to get an idea for what happens for those during this week.

learning in the rain is just as fun; and you really learn control of the car in the rain!

Lol that's true, but rather push the limits on dry grounds instead.
