In the next years, 100% a true red will be offered standard. In addition, Jet black will be offered, i mean how can it not be?. Interlagous, San Merino, or a dark blue will 100% be offered. I just don't think imo that sakhir will last that long. But I could be wrong. I've been around these cars for 15 years now, i know the trends pretty well. Time will tell.

What precedent has been set for that though? All I am familiar with is the E9X, where sparkling graphite was nixed and then mineral white brought in around LCI.

You really think 3-4 colors this time around will be dropped? And then 3-4 added?

Based on the E9X color course I could see one of the AY, SO, or YMB dropped (most likely the yellow IMO) and adding a darker blue like Interlagos.

e46, lsb was discontinued as well as phoenix yellow. thats why if you can find one used right now thats clean, they are going to top dollar. i don't know about what else was discontinued.

its obvious they are going to bring in a darker blue and a true red. who knows, I'm just stating what i believe. and if they bring in another red or another blue, SO or YMB will be discontinued. they will keep the 2 white option most likely, those are the big sellers. $$$ rules the world.

This seems like a distinct color, but like one user said it appears "candy".. and I don't want that look going on my future M4.. and on overcast days it looks just plain red, and I'm not a red car guy at all.. I can safely scratch this off my list

so now I've narrowed down the colors to MW, SS, or YMB

Yeah, that is what I am looking for as well. So far the color choice is what really keeps me away. All the offered colors are just not good for me, or they do not express my style. Either bland, either old, either too candy, too imature, etc. Not to mention they are just a few, very very poor offer. I would actually like to see the colors that BMW used to offer few years back on its Individual program. Jaguar has a beautiful metallic red, I wish BMW will offer something like that. I like the red but I will never buy it non metallic, the fading will make it terrible in time and hard to match.
We need some beautiful colors, I never understand why they are not able to offer lots of options, that is one of the particularities ina luxury car. Not to mention we are talking about M division...
A special car must have special colors and be able to represent different characters from simple to sophisticated...
