Screen Mirroring

I have ID6 and I cannot find the screen mirroring option. I could've sworn I saw this option previously but I cannot seem to find it. Anyone know where the option is?

No such iDrive functionality. Are you thinking about the optional CarPlay functionality?

The OEM screen mirroring function is available with certain Android phones, but not any iPhone variants. If you google a bit you will find some YouTube videos where BMW dealers demo this functionality.

I have an iPhone so I don't know exactly what specs are required, but it would not surprise me if you needed Enhanced Bluetooth as well.

Well, I stand corrected . . . I think.

I didn't know that BMW offered this functionality. I watched the BMW YouTube video and now understand it does. However, the option to turn screen mirroring on and off is not in my iDrive menu and I have Bluetooth streaming. I do have an iPhone connected to the car, so maybe the option is not showing because this is an Android-only function. Or maybe it's only available on newer models like the 7 and 5 (which is what's shown in the BMW video).

btw, if you do have screen mirroring in your car, it should be under the Media/Radio menu, listed below the audio sources (Presets, FM, AM, etc.).
