To the guy who filmed the video. There's definitely been people caught and fined for shit like this. Take my comment as you want, but that video should probably be set to private if it isn't already. To the guy commenting below about whatever nonsense. Go waste your time trying to act tough somewhere else. I could care less about what you comment/think. Too many people on here who have the mind of a 15 year old.

Here in oregon. I got the car up to 156 and almost immediately i kicked me down to 152 again. then i got back on it, and it did it again even more violently, idk if thats a U.S thing or not, but as fun as it was, its kind of a let down, considering it can go way faster and how much we pay for a car like this.

I have twice gotten mine to 163MPH on the HUD before I hit the limiter. I do have a JB4 in the car, but I'm not sure if that somehow tricks the car into going over the 155MPH limiter.

Last year I was in Germany, I didn't go crazy but 150mph on the clock is easy to stroll up to, I'm not one for a balls out foot to the floor unlimited run as things slow down after 150mph and you've travelled a long way as you wait for the extra mph to show.

For those who are going to places where you are legally allowed to do it, just remember, even if the drivers are all better trained (no, they aren't all better trained), there are many factors that can get you hurt/killed: 1) you get a flat, 2) another driver gets a flat, 3) wildlife jumps out in front of your car, 4) another driver doesn't see you and gets in front of your car. The autobahn gets trafficky just like any road in the US. Also, there are quite a few spots with 2 lanes and unlim speed...read....TWO lanes and unlim speed. When you are passing another car you are within 6-10 feet of that car and flying by.
I would say, best time to do it is during early morning (just after sunrise), or later in evening (during summers) when the sun is out. Reason being...less likely to have rush hour traffic. Not saying don't do it - heck, i did max speed on both my ED trips...just be careful. And if you have a family, please do not bring them on this part of your experience. Let them be in the hotel. EDIT: Oh, and getting to max speed does take quite a bit of straightaway...so plan for that. Our cars our quick, but 164 is hard to get to...it's also scary AF

Not tried it in the M4 yet, I did get my BMW K1200R up to 172Mph on the sat nav, it was still pulling, the dotted lines transfomed to solid. It seemed very stable.
The funny this was, when the police motorcyclyst on the Bikesafe course asked me what the most I had had out of it was I said about 90, he called me a liar, I then told him the truth. He slapped me on the back and said, "Great, we need to see what these things can really do". Dwain |

Look at the video at 0:08 time, but I'm saying this person did it at the track, or is incredibly foolish. I've done 164, it's ridiculously fast and pretty darn scary at that speed.

143mph effortlessly and in absolute control. It's scary really how much room was left. Sport+ across the board.
Can't wait to find that limit! Is this how Chuck Yeager felt?
