Silly question: Dropped car seat anchor cover in hole, how can I retrieve it?

I was cleaning the leather in the back seat of my M3 and the noticed the car seat anchor cover had come unlatched and I tried to attach it back on and it fell in the hole. I reached down for it and couldn't reach far enough to get the anchor cover back up. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it out?

I see the replacement is $30 on Amazon.

Lots of different ones are available. The one above has both claws and a magnet.

Can’t you pop the seat up and retrieve it?
I need to try as well. Mine fell in too.

On another note... is it just me or are the edges of the plastic sharp? Every time I use the latch feature, my fingers get scratched up pretty good trying to hook the latch

What I thought. Thanks for the vid. Pretty much the same as the E90 rear seat removal
