666m Coating peeling off

I took my car in to supposedly the best rim repair in the county to fix some rash. A year later the coat is now peeling off.

What are my DIY options to get this cleaned up. I understand it wont look perfect but what can I do to prevent further peeling and restore the shine a bit

I used 300 all the way to 2000 wet sanding with a kit from Amazon to fix a small curb mark on my 759 20s I had on my G30. The finish was great and better than getting the whole wheel done and losing the oem finish.

Your peeling should be much easier. The tricky part will be getting a nice even blended coat of lacquer

It was just some clear coat spray I picked up in Halfords.

I taped up the tyre sidewalls and surrounding areas and just tried to make a mist of lacquer land on the area to get a blended finish.

Pure diy learn as you go stuff but seemed to work ok.
