You need to be in one menu before the sports display, but with the sports display option highlighted. If you open up the sports display then try to program it won't work. hopefully that makes sense.

Having a flat on a rainy day is not inspiring. MY18 CP with 16K. Don't know what happened but driver's side rear must have hit something. All I heard was a "slapping" sound like tread coming apart. I was 45 minutes from home and it was pouring. Pulled into rest stop, got towed home. Tow truck driver would not drive car onto ramp - too pretty he said, didn't want to damage anything. 2 x rear tires from The Rack should arrive today. I plan to DIY. Any tips on raising and pulling off tire(s)?

If you are swapping pads and looses the brake fluid reservoir cap, tape it down or don't loosen it all the way or it will drop into a pit of despair. I spent 20 minutes trying to recover it.

I learned on my 2016 M3 ZHP the moonroof has 3 positions. Push the button up to tilt the back edge up. Slide the button back to open 90%, then slide it back again to open all the way.

Also, the parking/emergency brake doesn't do anything until the last click and is non-adjustable. The dealer near me said it's suppose to be that way. WTF? That sounds like a design defect or maybe just mine is defective and the dealer is rubbish.

Also, BMW's are designed to maximize revenue for service departments. They make it difficult to jack up/work on your own car. Maintenance like spark plug changes take 3-4 times longer than normal and if you take it to a shop you pay exorbitant labor rates.

Is there a way to find out just what is individual about my car. I bought it used.

On my 2018 M3 occasionally while driving I'll get an alert on the tach and idrive saying objects detected on the road proceed with caution.

Don't own an M3, but World-wide launch of the next generation G80(M3) and G82(M4) = good deals on used F80 M3/M3 Competitions and good deals used F83 M4 hard-top Convertible with traditional rear C-pillar lines.

Same.

I have concluded that I’m skipping this next gen. Car’s going to be with me for quite a while or unless I change to something else, which will not be 1) polarizing (I don’t pay 70-80K for polarizing, angry piggy looks) and 2) overweight (might as well get a luxo barge).

I discovered that I’m keeping my car indefinitely too

Holy hell. Coming up on 3 years with my car and I drive with windows/sunroof down about half the time. Just now found out it can open the sunroof an extra 10% with another slide of the button! Mind is blown. Anybody have an idea why it is like this?

I assume opening to 90% as the default minimizes the wind noise.
