CETA should mean cheaper German built cars

The implementation of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union should eliminate the 6.1% duty on cars imported from Europe. That is the good news. The bad news is the duty will only be phased out over 7 years. Will be quite an interesting situation if the US imposes substantial duties on imported cars.

I agree, it will be replaced with another tax or charge.
