I'm thinking of ordering a set of the 1st run Eibach I like the original stance. Do you have any pics of your car with the Eibachs?

Lowering the car equally front and rear can make this visual difference look even worse. For example, if there is 1.5" fender gap in front and 1" fender gap in the rear on stock height, the front has 1.5 times more gap than in the rear. Lower the car 0.75" front and rear and the fender gap becomes 0.75" and 0.25", so now the front has 3 times the gap of the rear, which will look different and possibly worse than the "factory stance".

BTW, I don't believe they "changed the drop". I think they simply had/have a bad batch out there. There are quite a few F8X that got a good drop from their original Eibach kit. There are others though (like me) that ended up with a RAISED rear. That should not have happened, and IMO, we were just given the "right" springs to fix the issue. After I got the new rear springs installed, I got the 0.2" drop just as advertised.

Here you go: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...0&postcount=57

Thing is, you wont know which are the "good 1st run" as they are not labelled in any way and there is no way to differentiate good and bad springs without physically comparing/examining them . The replacement rear springs I received carried the same part number as the first "bad" ones I had purchased.

Absolutely perfect drop, I'm going to roll the dice on 1st part number. Is the ride OEM like? Any bounce?

I figure if the rear are defective batch they will replace them (Eibach) and the rear are cheaper to re-install than the front anyway

No, but I did receive word from them today that someone brought in a non-comp car for measurement. Not sure why they haven't scheduled with me yet but I offered to come by tomorrow.

They've already measured the non-comp pack car. Not sure why they'd want to do it again. Are you talking directly to Dave?

Yeah, talking to Dave. They said new batch of springs just came in so they probably want to ensure those don't lift the rear hahaha.

I guess they'll reach out to me when they're ready...they have my info.

Just installed a new set of V1 springs on my M3. Seemed like most issues were with M4 installs. Not a good result at all for me. For the rear, the passenger side had a tiny drop of about 4 mm and the driver side raised by 14 mm. That means that the driver side and passenger side are off by 18 mm or almost 3/4!! Very annoyed. I double checked the the springs are clocked and seated correctly. Will have to contact Eibach. Could someone PM the contact info? Thanks.

Hey guys,
Going from 335 M Performance Edition to F80 which should be arriving in a few days. I just ordered the Eibach Pro Kit Springs which seem to be a newer version than anything that's been mentioned above. On the website it says available after 02/27/2017 and lower the rear by 0.5" (12.7mm) and front by 1" (25.4mm). Has anyone received and installed these yet?
