That's fair enough, maybe I'm more picky about things. Nothing dates an interior like saggy loose leather. If they say no, then that's that. I'll try the hairdryer trick.

Not easy to just go to a dealer and say u want a new seat. They just dont have them laying around and will easily change it. You most likely will need to deal with it.

I would say mine looks a bit tighter than that, but not by much, didn't concern me. If not for this post I wouldn't have ever even thought about it.

Here's mine with 20 miles on it.

Guess worth a try but highly doubt BMW will do anything about it and just say it's normal wear and tear.

If BMW will replace a seat over something like this, they gonna be doing whole lot of swaps.

This is how you can distinguish leather from non leather seats. Ever glance @ a car with that tech/pleather? Tight as a drum.

You will be pissing in the wind if you think BMW is going to do anything about this.
The wear and tear on the seats is based solely on the individual (primary driver); factors such as the weight of the person(s), how he or she sits in the seat(s), practices of getting in and out. Not saying there arent defects out there, but yours doesnt seem to be one of those cases. Short story is: the wear you're seeing is most likely due to the way you sit in the seat.

I can read, and those are different seats...

What I mentioned certainly applies to your situation - and its what I would tell you if I was a SA at a dealer, but I'm not an SA, so why not ask if you have time to kill one day, and feel its justified to get them to "fix" what you think is a defect.

Just adding my .02 bc I think you are going to waste your time.

Yeah but you were implying that I've caused the saggy lines after 700 miles and that it's totally my own fault, even though I sit in this one just as carefully as my last one which for 18 months remained sag free.

If it's non-fixable then I'll simply live with it, but it's most definately not something that I've caused myself going on the way I pamper my cars to almost OCD levels of care.

My ex GF started to sag like that. Pissed me off and I was definitely out of warranty! Haven't seen it happen with my seats though.
