That worked. Unfortunately that dealership is a couple hours away from me or I would check it out for you. I met the GM of that dealership a few times. His brother is a salesman there too. No other info outside of that sorry.

Did you put the other set in your car? What do you think of them? Big difference from stock?

Yep I've had the other set in my car since March. I was in on the preorder with them. So I actually had them for months before I got around to installing them.

My opinion below holds true over six months later. At some point I'll probably get the full system to complement the subs if there is no easy add in amp solution.

Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested in my other set of subs. I can post pics again of the boxes. Still unopened and the tamper sticker on both boxes are uncut.

Here is my post from March:

As far as the subjective feedback on the sound differences vs. stock.

-If the volume is below 50% I can't hear much of a difference if any at all.

-If the volume is above 50% there is a very noticeable difference and it is very positive.

For the price I paid I would do it again if there was still no after market amp solution. If we could easily add an amp I really feel that is all this system needs.

I'm just debating how much to spend on my leased car

I live in greater Cleveland area in OH. I just got my 2017 M3 (in Austin Yellow) with a 6-speed MT, Comp. Package (and few other packages) at the beginning of October. I'd love to compare others' experience of the F80 with mine, especially the gearbox.

East side of CLE here. If anyone hears of local meet I would be interested to check out others' local M's as well. Can't wait for Columbus Cars and Coffee to begin 2017. May can't come soon enough

Thanks for the Welcome.
It's nice to see other CLE area enthusiasts.

I was wondering if anyone is planning to attend HPDE at MidOhio during Memorial Day weekend this year?

Has anyone attended this event (HPDE) before? If you have, do you recommend it? Would you go again? I'm thinking of going this year but I'm not sure what to expect (besides "driver around the track while following the rules of the event" or "learn how to handle a corner's entry, apex, exit" which I'm sure are cool).

I live in Toledo, but my "dealer" is in Akron, so I may be in the area during the spring. I'll have to check out the HPDE event this year.

Yeah, it's like we're all coming out of the woodwork or something. I highly recommend HPDE events. If you're new at it, you'll be paired with an instructor who will ride shotgun and walk you through things. I found it very helpful. You should also definitely look into track day insurance. Most insurance companies don't cover track days.

Located southwest CLE and looking to pick up an M soon. Looking forward to the local C&C on Sundays and maybe getting into the HPDE event.

For the CLE folks, who do you use for a local Indy shop?
