Looked at a frozen black M4 with ceramics and yellow contrast stitching when I was buying. Made a quick call to Damien at Final Inspection to discuss care and maintenance of said paint. Needless to say I really changed my mind on the car post the chat with Damo.
It’s a great colour for a collector, to leave in a Perspex humidity controlled box lol |

My thinking is this. I’ll either get a wrap or paint protection coating. Beyond that any decent scratch and you’re repainting a panel anyway these days. If they can’t match the colour it’s the insurance companies problem not mine. |

A few select shots (iPhone only!) including having the front wrapped, carbon door pull recesses (thanks Modaddict79) and one of the engine bay where I was surprised to find a glossy, fully coated finish.

Went for a blatt to Kinglake yesterday early morning. I can't believe how much quicker and more stable the M4 is compared to the 1M. I was keeping the throttle below 80% and the revs under 5.5k but even then the performance is astonishing. I softened the dampers up for the C724 and it just hung on. A little understeer on the way in, neutralised with the throttle on the way out.
Just phenomenal.

i haven't taken any car up there for a couple years now, i'd imagine m3/m4 is so wide you'd be running over reflectors constantly? #makekinglakegreatagain |

Having said that it was still a lot of fun. By the way, that video looks like it's playing at 1.5x speed! Those Evo's really hang on!

The size of the f80 is my only real complaint about the car in terms of getting it out for a hill runs - it would be perfect if it were still e9x dimensions
Certain roads I know just won't suit it, and there is little option in placing the car accurately within the lane - for vic roads, reefton and gembrook rd are about as narrow as I feel comfortable pushing it |

Test drove an X3 M40i today.
While there, had a look at this pace car. Someone really leant on those PSS!

Deposit down with Mo for an M3 finished in white Silver Metalic (a mini colour). Looks good on Mini so here’s hoping.
@Domino. I think both our cars may be arriving on the same vessel. |

Whenever I see a Nardo Grey car I think it'll look great once they paint over the primer.
