SF Bay Area Track Days: Roll-Call and Coordination Thread

I did this a long time in the e92 m3 forum for PacNW tracks and it was a great success.. Now that I've moved to Bay area starting a similar thread here.

This will be an ongoing thread to coordinate on upcoming track days in the San Francisco Bay Area.

HOD Aug 25 at Sonoma

Roll call for HOD Aug 25 at Sonoma - Who else is going?

I'll be there. First time at Sonoma and first time back at the track after a few months (recovery from knee surgery), I'll be rusty.

Anyone else going and would like to pit together?

I'd definitely be interested once my car gets here from Germany. I'm a total novice, though - are there any beginner-friendly HPDEs with 1:1 instruction in the coming months?

Recommend you do an autocross or few to start. You can drive without nannies and your only worry is possibly marring a bit of body as you send some cones to their final resting place.

I like Exclusive Track Days. Not many events but a really good group. You can get 1:1 instruction.

I love Exclusive track days too... you get 7 sessions instead of the usual 5.

My next day is HOD Sep 25th at Laguna. I'm still stooopid slow as I'm returning after a long hiatus and knee surgery but slowly getting faster. I'll be tootling around in intermediate group.

anyone else going?

Nice thread. Thanks for the heads up on Exclusive and NCRC.

I'll be headed up to Sonoma this weekend with Speed SF for the first time with their organization and at Sonoma. Can't wait to experience the track in person, has been on my list for awhile.
