GC Camber Plate Compatibility?

I've got a set of Ground Control camber plates for my F80 that were built to accommodate my Ohlins R&T suspension. What exactly is changed when they're built for other brands of coilovers? I know some coilovers have 2.25" diameter springs (mine are 2.5"), but is something else changed?
