GC Camber Plates/KW H.A.S Combo Noise Question

Good Morning Gents,

I installed some GC Camber Plates and the KW H.A.S. Springs on my F80 a few months ago. If anyone has questions about install, and the setup, please feel free to ask.

For those with some experience, I'm getting some knocking noises over any small bumps at any speed and it's driving me nuts. Some say that's normal, while others report absolutely no noise whatsoever from their setups.

If everything is torqued down properly and the setup is under load, I can't imagine what would be making noise especially at low speeds.

Appreciate the feedback.

Thanks

Thanks
I have the GC Camberplates and MPerformance HAS and I get some light chatter over sharp road imperfections at slow speeds. It can be annoying at times when the roads suck. I tried replacing the spherical bearings in the camberplates and it didn't help much if at all. I think it may be the nature of these camberplates because I've had two shops confirm everything is fine.

It’s normal, assuming you’ve confirmed the top nut is torqued correctly and your spherical bearing isn’t damaged.

The hard parts that are normally rubber in the OEM plate transmit noise that occurs between the spring and damper through to the chassis that would normally be damped out by those aforementioned rubber parts.

Price to pay for negative camber...
