I just had Opti Coat Pro applied, and including full detail (including Engine Bay) and paint correction it was $535.

That's in the Nashville, TN area.

Xpel has a great clear bra film. The installer makes a world of a difference as well. You can have the best film out but if the installer is not good you will not be happy with the end result.

For the last 2+ months Optimum's MAP has been $595. If you're getting "opti-coat" for less than that I would be concerned with the quality of the installation as well as the actual product installed. All Opti-Coat jobs now come with a 5-year warranty. If you do not have a warranty provided to you by the manufacturer that you can view here: http://opti-coat.net/warranty-search.php you do not have Opti-Coat on your car. You have something else.

All quality Opti-Coat installers that I know, are not charging MAP (minimum advertised price). They are charging more because they are doing more than a few hours of work and then slapping it on.

There are a lot of crooks out there happy to claim they are installing Opti-Coat and then installing something cheaper and easier to work with. This is why Optimum no longer sells Opti-Coat 2.0 and you can only get Opti-Coat(the professional only product) or you can get the over the counter "2-year" coating called Opti-Gloss.
