Yeah it looks excessive for the street - but note the lip extends and contracts so it doesn't need to stay out like that. But I'm sure its aerodynamic effect was one reason it ran a 7:28 on the ring.

Can anyone find a picture of the Snow Performance water tank and pump system under the trunk floor?

Why do they call this World Debut? Wasn't this car shown in the US somewhere previously? And last weekend it was shown at Motorclassica here in Melbourne Australia alongside the Vision CSL.

Real racecars that are sedan based are not the best looking cars out there but are very functional with the modern aero allowed by the rules.

I think World Debut means it is shown for the first time at a public auto show for normal Joes. And by public auto show I mean regular auto show and not your ritzy pebble beach $400~ show.

I could be wrong...

In this picture, I much prefer the looks of it at the front. 19s just suit the car well, while the 20" wheels just seems a tad too big IMHO:

The car that debuted in Pebble Beach was technically a concept. Yes, the production car looks essentially identical. But production details weren't revealed until just recently, so this is the first time the actual production car is being shown.

The car you saw in Melbourne was also no doubt the same concept car that had been revealed prior which has been making its way around to various venues.

Agreed. You need to go up to the 5/6/7er size for 20" to look about right.

20" just too big on a 3/4-series! Wagon wheel, eek.

This car was built to shine on track.
It's more for go than show...
But... when it will appear at Nurburgring it will be hunted by sport auto fans more than a P car...
Comments related to wheels and other design accents are a nonsense taking into account on what platform this car is based and what impressive performances the engineers achieved!
Yes, for sure you can upgrade a 328, but when you're on the track these upgrades will not matter too much

Sadly, watching the car in person didn't change my impression much. Rear wheels are too big and its overly appealing orange hurts my eyes. Yes its Water injection, OLED lights, and some bits are undeniably cool, and it would have been nicer if we had right to choose less orange & smaller rear wheels, IMO.

Yea, if your'e going to come out with a GTS, at least make the wheels look the part. Porsche does a great job with exclusive wheels on the GT models that look amazing AND look like they mean business.

Overall except for the Gold wheels and gold accents I am OK.It is a functionally good looking setup for a track oriented vehicle.I think I will be going with the white to tone down the Gold.Do realize that GTRS comes with 21" wheels on the rear which also look very big.

Since we all don't know how much the msrp will be in Canada. What's the "top dollar" are you willing to pay for this. Will you be willing to pay 150k, 160k, or even 170k?

I am targeting $140000 and would be thrilled if it is less.If I had ordered CCB's on my M4 it would have listed at $108000.My upper threshold is probably $160-170000.But this is not the 1st time that I have ordered a car without knowing the price beforehand.
