Regarding the wheels, I like the black OEMs better. The size of the R103s with that much of a drop plus the number of spokes distracts me from focusing on the beauty of this car itself. If your going for pure vanity I think the P101s at 20" with no drop would have been a better choice. You could also see the blue calipers better through the P101s.
Ride is like stock. Will get to test it all out this weekend at Buttonwillow w/ Speed District. With the new found power the factory 275 isnt going to cut it unfortunately. As these cars start making more and more power the problem with traction is a more apparent.

I like do really like the M3 and M4 in stock form but thats not why we are in business The stock wheels are fantastic. BMW did a great job.

The HRE are temporary. Wheels are changed very often on our builds actually. We like to try all different styles so all of you can see what you like. Dont expect you to like everything we try.

Not lowered on 20" looks really bad though. Tried it. Others I know have tried it too and they have the same thoughts.

Thank you and exactly the brakes are being changed out this week.

So with all that being said....with the color combo we have going on....what color calipers would you like with a Mineral White / Sakhir M3?

Brembo factory choices are: Red, Black, Yellow, Silver.

The track wheels are gloss black lip and satin silver centers. Very open face design:

I was thinking Red Calipers.....but what do you think?

That's the way Ms have pretty much always been. It is leveled. Otherwise the chassis would have rake.

New drop is perfect but the VSR's with tinted brush look best to me..
Red Brembo caliper's will always look great on white but the yellow would look great too.
What finish is on the HRE's?

The use of the car will be DD plus track days. Forged Rays 19 wheels with CUP2 tires.
Tnx.
its absolutely going to kill the balance. springs only will always kill the balance, regardless of what car they are on. specifically lowering 1 inch.

-reduces suspension travel aka makes shocks work well outside of range. eating up half your travel at static height (typically 2-2.5 inches of damper travel before bottoming out)
-spring rates not appropriately matched to dampers
-ruins factory suspension geometry by lowering car this much

Too bad they don't have color matched calipers to your white with shak orange brembo lettering or shak orange calipers with white brembo lettering. I would actually go custom with either of those two colors. Match the caliper to exterior or interior color is what I would do. Plus it would be unique.

Is HRE just sending their wheels to all the vendors?

Those RS103's were on TAG's M4 if i'm not mistaken.

Were these runs w stock M3 or jb4?

The concavity in the rear looks awesome.

What's the width and tire size?
