Really need to see this color in the light to make any judgments. From the OP pics the blue looks flat and subdued......aspects that I am sure will be the complete opposite if we had some daytime and night pictures.

Holding my breath for what could be a cool color.....I just don't know yet!!

It's an interesting color. But I don't agree that there is any similarity to Le Mans Blue.

I saw this M3 on Saturday at the show, covered in hand prints with little kids dragging their hands all over it etc

Agreed...this color is absolutely NOTHING like Lemans or topaz. Not sure how anyone is seeing that really.

Just got back from the show, it looks like a less smurfy LSB. Not bad but not great. Also I really dont get how a car loaded with silverstone extended leather and this individual color as well as carbon brakes is subjected to the abuse of an auto show like this with 100,000 asses to be planted inside of it...

I just love how it's not metallic!!! Or at least I believe that's what UNI means..it's about time we start seeing some non-metallic colors

Isn't that the point of the autoshow ? To check a car out without worrying about an annoying SA bothering you ?

Color looks nothing like LSB in person. Wish I can see it in the sun but there's no way. I had no idea what the color was. But knew for sure it was individual.

Kinda cool that BMW brought that loaded F80.

What ever happened to Interlagos Blue? Is that still an optional color on any of the BMW models?

For everyones info, I believe this car is currently for sale with 21 miles on the ODO at BMW San Francisco. I have confirmed that it is a Violet Blue car, which the photos show with CCBs and the Silverstone interior. MSRP is over 90k.

Pretty sure I saw this car last night around 6pm on i95 going north bound.
Nice guy, he said he picked it up from the auction. Same exact specs and exact same color.

I wonder if BMW sold the car in this thread to the auction after the autoshow.

I know this car was at Braman BMW in Miami as of 2 weeks ago, they told me they can't sell it because its missing an interior piece that was damaged at the car show and the part was on back order. I had my friend who's a SA send me pics.
