Nice video. As anyone notived this gap before? i noticed it on the 3 aswell. HUGE panel gap or on purpose? Anyways got to test drive the 1st M4 in town yesterday. What A Car. its a daily driver and a track car all in one. Let down is the sound inside the cabin, a nose that could loose around 40kg (its not mid engine of course) and still a bit "detached". now i havent drove a boxter/cayman gts yet but i have a feeling that will be a bit more raw. different car yes but i guess whoever's looking at the m3 should look at that one too. The cynical in me sees the numbness of the car as a way to sells us in 12 15 months time a competion package. Myself? It's too big and numb for the roads I drive in so im keeping my £ for an m2 (smaller nimbler I hope) or the cayman gts (more raw alive) Man we are spoiled for choice these days

Stock xenon headlights look nice and look a million times better than the e92
headlights BUT the LED is worth it..

I was hesitant at first spending that extra 1900.

When I received my M4 a week ago and saw them in person, LED Headlights look amazing. So crisp, so futuristic looking, the color is unbelievable and just adds so much to the overall appearance to the front of the car. LED allows you to use the halo's as a headlight because they are more bright over the xenon projected halo's. it is an option to think about for sure.

The ONLY option I want on my car are the LED lights, everything else can remain base for all I care. LOOOOVE the LED lights.

I think it has been discussed already that the LED lights are not brighter than HID (use less energy, sure). In Europe I would get LEDs but not in the US because of our arcane laws from the 70s limiting the technology (limiting the way we can use it). BMW is also overcharging for LEDs by a good margin compared to all other manufacturers (example is Audi's LED price $1400). I would rather spend the money on full leather.

$1900 is a lot to pay for lights that look a little cooler, especially when you are inside your car and don't get to see how they look head on.

I have the LEDs on my F15 and really like them. Are they a good value? Not really. And yes, the US DOT laws do mean we miss out on some functionality, but you can enjoy the LEDs from the driver seat. For instance, the standard BMW xenons just aren't that great, I could see further down the road in my old G37 than I could in my F25 X3.

That's not an issue in my F15 w/LED.

In addition, when you order the LED option it include the turn signals. I don't get to see them head on, but I do see the reflection of them off the car in front of me.

I agree that they're a little expensive for what you get, but I do think they look significantly better than the LEDs offered by Audi.

I like their reviews. 32.1 MPG though? Hmm how boring would that driving have to be?

He, look on the bright side, if they stop producing cars with manual transmissions, we can all save our money. I havent replaced my 2009 BMW E60 XDrive, because BMW stopped selling XDrive vehicles with manual transmissions in North America. They cannot even be special ordered. Think of how much money I have saved.. :-;

You can eliminate the gap using the hood bump stops. (or at least could on the E92) They are just little rubber stops that just screw in and out

LED's are brighter than xenon and that is a fact...

I called bmw NA and the M4 standard Xenon lights, the halo's are projected by xenon..

You cannot judge until you have them. I do and I can tell you the halo's on the LED headlights are super bright at night.
