Does it cost anything to do PCD? Also, does it delay getting your car any (other than you having to travel to pick it up)?

Sounds like you got a small portion of what we did on the first day of M school. I had a blast and sounds like you did too even if you didn't get the full course.

You need signed and notarized waivers from the center. Call then and ask for Kelli.

PCD is free when you order a car. I think it added about ten days. The delay was caused primarily due to scheduling the delivery.

Thanks for the positive feedback. It was a great experience with my buddy and I wanted to memorialize it.

For me it would have added three weeks, and you don't get to choose the date - PCD tells you what your date will be and you must schedule around it. I couldn't make it work this time, but it's definitely worth it if you can do it.

I've had all of the M3s, except an E30. The E92 was a bit of a let down. The M4 is a major step up, and I really like it. Great car with lots of readily available power. Love the color. I think these cars look great in AY, SO, and YMB, which also looks much better in person than pics.

This isn't how it worked for me. I provided them a list of dates that would work for me. They confirmed my first choice. My CA made sure we locked it in early, which I'm sure helped, I could see if you wait the dates will fill up and you'll have to take what you can get.

This is the way it worked for me as well. You will have a choice.

Thanks for the heads-up. Is that something I will have to do there or before hand?

You need to have it signed by the parents and have that signature notarized. I doubt they have a notary. Any bank should have a notary.

Awesome writeup! And the most accurate pic I've seen so far of the AY. Maybe we can double date with the wives and kids to Grove Park when my m3 gets off the boat.

As most said, great post and well written. Sounds like you had a great time and one that will always be remembered by both you and your Nephew. He must have been on cloud 9! Enjoy the car and be safe!

Well we definitely don't share the same thoughts on the M3s! (Except that we both love them) great write up though. I've been to the facility, but never for a pcd so it was cool to read about.

Well, what are your thoughts? I love them, but expect more and more from them.
