New Mods and a chance to clean the car!!

Hi all,

Been a while since I posted any photos, last time was when I first picked up the car.

Since then I have added a few oem parts, started with the carbon mirror covers, then the spoiler and gear surround. Going for the gear selector and handbrake cover next.

Also had a 2ch dashcam installed, did this myself (after a pro install) and it was fairly easy. I know a lot of people say these don't affect DAB but there is no doubt they still do (after trying two different makes of camera, every possible cable route (professional install included) and loads ferrite cores). It's only in weak signal areas, other that that it's fine.

I wasn't sure at first but really like it now, I think with the m performance handbrake cover it will look great (Carbon and alcantara)

Not much left to do after that, suspension is tempting but worries about the front splitter!!

Hi, im running the HAS kit dropped low and the CF splitter is still un marked, i do plan the route TBH!

really improves the look imo

I've been thinking about springs recently myself and like you I'm a tad concerned about the front splitter, some my customers have those large rubber security bumps around their main gates which I only just about clear now, not sure I'd get over them if the car was any lower!

The rear spoiler looks superb likes it's a new bootlid. It's blends so well. Great job mate

Does the M4 style OEM perf spoiler fit the M3 boot? If it does, I think I need that in my life...

I don't think it does however I think you can buy an aftermarket one that does. I am sure someone has one on here

Did you hardwire your dash cam in? Looks like the Blackvue DR650S..is it as good as the internet reviews say it is?

It will be hardwired, just waiting for the power magic pro. Very easy to do, 2 x fuse taps and a ground and you are good to go.

Yeah I was reading about the cloud feature. It does look very impressive. I didn't know that you could get full time hotspot. I read that after 20mins of switching the car off the WIFI would be turned off.

Looks great Scott! That's exactly how I'm doing the centre console, carbon trim & alacantara, but no carbon on the shifter. Think it blends perfectly.

In terms of the hotspot I am going to buy a £30 sim and stick it in an old phone plugged into the USB charger in the centre console.. It will then get connectivity for 8 or 9 hrs
