Parky's BSM M3 with BMW Performance Parts, ESS Tune, and more!
I have been installing few pieces here and there over last few month.
If you didn't see it already, here is original build thread showing my car from the beginning. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1021412 Early this week, I went to EAS to get BMW Performance front lip, ESS E-Tornic, and aFe drop-in dry filter installed. I also installed following parts over past few month (not updated in my original post). - IND front kidney grill with painted tri-color stripe - RKP carbon fiber diffuser - Xpel Ultimate clearbra (front bumper only) Photos My car is in EAS getting ESS E-Tronic and aFe drop-in dry filter installed. This is my first piggy back tune but I am very impressed with it. It really improved somewhat lacking low-mid rpm power. As for drop-in filter, I haven't noticed big sound difference between this and stock with charcoal filter removed. BMW Performance front lip installed. You can see position of engine oil cooler from this shot. Everything is installed! I really like this shot showing new front bumper shape. It makes side shot of the car look much more aggressive and balanced. |

Looking good Parky, for both of us. No scrapes here, so in four months you must be prepared to gimme coffee.

BTW, map switching kinda confused me because Roman mentioned normal tune as stage 1 and torque tune as stage 2. Yet, on etronic module, normal is stage 3, torqur is stage 2, and linear is stage 1. They needs to re-do etronic map switching manual as one that I got has many mis-information. Quote:
That was my fear initially. But as long as you wipe dust daily with california duster and have car waxed once every few month, it should shine like new car for long time! |

If I could keep a black car swirl free I'd be all over this setup. I am sure others can easily do this but for some reason I can't, I look at black and it swirls, must be my laser eyes.
