I want to post up mine but I shouldn't as it is not what you are looking for, ie very extensive. However, I'll share a couple of nuggets with you. Waterless is definitely not the optimal route for cleaning your car. It simply isn't as safe or as thorough as water and definitely not as effective as a pressure washer set up. You'll also burn through towels like nobody's business which can get very expensive quickly. If you are going to use a waterless though I'd recommend the AMMO frothe set up or Optimum No Rinse/ Optimum Opti-Clean. I used CarPro ECH20 for a long time then recently switched to these other two and like them much better. I typically don't like the SIO2 based products. However, CarPro makes other fabulous products like Perl and IronX. The AMMO frothe is a new product that is really one of a kind and quickly found its way into my arsenal. I use it on road trips or for quick touch ups, but never when the car is heavily soiled.
Here is the product only set up that I would recommend to get you started. Adam's Car Shampoo Ammo Frothe NextZett Colortec Wheel Cleaner CarPro Perl CarPro IronX Optimum Spray Wax Optimum Opti Clean Optimum No Rinse (ONR) Adam's Tire & Rubber Cleaner Kenotek Showroom Shine Microfiber Madness Incredimitt/Pad Wheel Woolies Hose-type Foam Gun and get yourself some high quality microfibers - The Rag Company Eagle, Creature, Minx, Edgless, etc. If you want to go super high end on your detailing products then look at anything from AMMO. Larry makes amazing stuff. He's a detailer and a chemist who really knows what he is doing. He vets his products with the best detailers around too before selling them. I use the whole line up regularly. I have clients who only want me to use his products and I don't blame them. www.ammonyc.com |

None. This is after using Clearshine waterless wash. And this factory paint was very expensive and showed everything. Original paint from 1996 and looked better than a brand new cars paint.

Graves Are you using Clearshine when the car is completely filthy or primarily when dusty or light dirt? What's the application method/approach you use for this product.

I've used it filthy, dusty, and with heavy soiling. I've also used it on the wife's daily after snow and mud. The stuff works. Of course with anything you need to be careful.

Use this code and get $15 off your first order. A friend of mine owns the business. Retired from the Air Force just the other day. Awesome dude.

While the OP states "Nothing too crazy that would require storage or anything like that, for example like a pressure washer" my car wash routine/kit involves a pressure washer.
Typically, I rinse spray the car with a pressure washer, foam cannon with CarPro Reset, then rinse the car with filtered water (CR Spotless). I do this once every weekend three times a month. Nothing touches the paint other than water and soap. This takes between 15-25 minutes depending on how fast I go (which is determined by how busy my weekend is). On every fourth wash I use ONR in a single bucket with four microfiber sponges after the foam cannon. One sponge for horizontal panels (roof, hood, and trunk) and glass, one for the vertical door panels, one for the front bumper, lights, and grill, and the final one for the rear bumper, lights, and diffuser. I never re-use a sponge during the wash process. Afterwards I'll foam cannon again and rinse with filtered water. I'll also wash the wheels with a wheel woolie for the barrels and cheap microfiber towel for the face and calipers. This process takes significantly longer (about 1.5 hours). I used to blow dry the car after the full wash (and still do if I'm driving it right away) but often I just let the car air dry in the garage. Car is ceramic coated. |

My weekly car wash routine on my Daily driver.
Meguairs wheel brightener+Wheel brushes (Use a hose for just the wheels) Optimum No Rinse Wash+Wax+microfiber wash mitt to perform rinseless wash Meguair's Ultimate Quik Wax to finish the paint and wheels. I would wash my car with a hose every few months. Car still looks brand new after 3 years, and swirl free |
