My new M3 CS has arrived!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
So took delivery of new car on Saturday, had it out for a quick run on some country back roads where the dampers were sensational to be honest.Car was pinned to the road as the tyres warmed up and tc never went off once.
It's getting the MPE put on it on Weds then going to detailers who has rescheduled to fit me in for an Xpel wrap.
Some pics of Car day arrived and last four taken today in dull light to see the change in colour, car won't be washed until at detailers.

And some in dull light

It's good, it's the same Sports Exhaust found on the Competition Package but the MPE is on a whole new level of loudness and aural pleasure. I've heard both in person and while the CS is good, the MPE blows it out of the water.

No it’s a different exhaust to the CP. And as for it blowing it out of the water, that’s a matter of opinion.

This looks amazing man. Cant wait to see after the much needed detail ! Is the stock exhaust not good enough ? I thought it was a upgraded titanium exhaust.

Thanks for the lovely comments guys.

The exhaust is a lightweight stainless system including the tips, it's a different system than the CP and is a lot deeper sound.
I ordered the MPE after finding this out, there is no ASD in the cabin , you can here the induction and exhaust coming from the rear. The MPE will spice this up for me.

Mu understanding is that the CS exhaust is pretty much the same as the CP exhaust albeit with a slightly different tune and welded on single walled tips (similiar in design to the GTS tips). It is no more lightweight than the CP exhaust.

I plan on doing the same as you, I just got my MPE replaced under warranty on my current M4, so it is brand new and I'll swap it over to my M4CS when I get it this summer.

Please post videos once you get the MPE installed. It should sound very good IMO. I reckon it will sound very similiar to the M4GTS.

Will get a video done when it goes on it, I have one of the standard one at low revs.

Am not sure, but I had a quick look at the MPE which arrived last week, it looks like the short pipes going into the muffler are titanium instead of stainless as before and the stainless pipes clamp onto them.BM are due to release a revised version to stop ' cracking' by the welds and am thinking this could be it

The entire rear section of the MPE including all the welded on pipes is and has always been made entirely of titanium because it is not really feasible to weld titanium and stainless steel together. The titanium rear section is clamped to the stainless steel mid section.

As a tidbit, the MPE sheds 8kg off the standard exhaust

so you know what I'm talking about in terms of aural pleasure. Your MPE will blow the CS's stock exhaust out of the water
