I sure hope they are not using the same prototype used in Dec 2013 because this looks exactly the same. I am hoping for different colors for both models. I also noticed the wheels on this shot are still that blend of silver and black but other wheels have seen are solid black. I sure hope its solid black cause I am not feeling the blend at all! Other than that bring on the launch!

Not sure why some folks are surprised by the size/length. It looks like a pretty accurate representation of the actual dimensions. No distortion. Have you seen an f30 or f32 in real life? The things are HUGE! 5/6 series territory.

That's the M4 that will be in Cobo. Notice the US specification reflectors
Austin Yellow M4 and Yas Marina Blue for the M3. No other colors.

Someone explain this to me please, how the heck are these people driving this car on PSS tires in such cold weather? Isn't this dangerous? The video that was taken in NJ a few weeks ago also had the car with the PSS tires when new jersey was in the middle of the snow storm. Surely BMW isn't that stupid?

As long as there is no/minimal snow on the ground and you drive it judiciously, it's not a big it deal. Just have slightly less traction until the tires warm up, that's all.

PSS are very decent tires in cold weather. Surprisingly, their grip in cold weather is very good. Even when it's wet, as long as there is no snow.

I drive on my PSS all winter long. Granted, I never drive on snowy or icy days. That would be suicide.

PSS is the best summer performance tire for winter. And I tried many. I strongly advise against using summer tires during winter. But if you have to get by this way, PSS is the one to choose.

I drive my PSS all the time in winter below freezing. Like everyone else has said, if there is snow or ice on the ground, then I won't drive it. They do just fine in cold weather. Not the same amount of grip as when it's warm, but they do just fine.

Scott, any chance the M3 will also be shown at the Brussels Auto show next week? I know the M4 will be present but I don't have any info on the M3.

Possibly due to wideangle lens being used to capture the pic.

I actually think they are completely black, and appear silver/black because of reflection. If you look at the pic where the car is turning, they look completely black. I've noticed this effect in other pics as well. I want completely black wheels also.

I think that's just black reflecting the lighting. Check out the wheels in the Mineral White thread - those are definitely all black.

I know the inner rim is all black. I am talking about the spokes which are clearly two tone. I want all black and yes we have seen other spied cars were entire wheel is black which is my hope!!

Comparing the wheel on the MW car to the one above these are different than above. If you look close enough the black on this wheel looks like it's a cover for the two tone silver/black rims shown in car and driver. Guess we will know for sure soon enough.
