If you want function over form, feel free to throw a huge wing on the back of your car.
Bottom line is most will buy this for the look, most will never track, and even if they did track, they probably wouldn't feel the difference of a small spoiler such as this.

Big shout out to IND for all of the excellent painted products that have gone into this car. Quality that is as good as OEM - always happy to have their products on my car!

If you want to see more pics of the car as it continues it's mod journey feel free to check them out on my instagram. #weshowell.

Much more to come.

Wheels shown are MORR MonoForged VS53 Brushed tinted copper finish.

Thank you! Wheels aren't for everyone, I know - and that's totally cool. There will be more on the way. However, you really should see them in person. They're SOOO hard to convey via a photograph. None of the pics I've taken really come close to representing how they look in person... too orange, too bright, too flat...you name it!

Most people that buy this spoiler aren't buying it for performance reasons, right? I think this is probably true of most of the performance parts. As for me - just a mod. If it's only cosmetic, I"m ok with that.

435 supersport springs. I'll move to coils soon - but no hurry. I really like these springs and the car handles great. Just a touch stiffer but regular driving in comfort mode is better than my E92 with ground control kit.

I didn't see this in any of your posts but does your car have the adaptive suspension?

Downforce?

Wrong with regards to the CSL style lip. The purpose of the "gurney flap" spoiler is to decrease drag by keeping the boundary air layer attached longer. This equalizes the Cd between the coupe and sedan at 0.34, though the coupe still has smaller frontal area so better overall drag figure. Spoilers designed for downforce increase drag. You may be correct that the M Performance addition does little functionally - would be nice to see test results from BMW.

Spoiler ordered. I wasn't really planning on spending that much money today, but hey, we only live once.

How hard is it to remove the rear diffuser? I will be painting it gloss black, to match the rest of the chrome deletes.

Ok, in your other thread I mentioned I didn't personally care for the finish on these wheels, mostly because they remind me of my old man's atrocious rose gold Rolex, but this last shot makes them look freaking amazing with how they almost change tint in the light and shadows. Everytime I look at your car ever since you started this thread I'm like "I would drive the SHIT out of that"

Sweet car man, best M4 on the forums IMO, so far (I know it's early, but damn)

Thanks for the kind words. I really enjoy shooting the cars and media in general so having something a bit more unique (like gulf livery on my last E92) is obnoxious to some but it makes it more fun to shoot!

This shot really does a better job of showing the finish than some of the other pics.

There is going to be a lot more going on with this car in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
