Nice video. I hope for 2 things:
1. The Alfa is eventually offered with a MT 2. The Alfa proves at least somewhat reliable A more distant third is that PS4S can (at least as an option) replace the Pirelli P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico 2s...I'll sacrifice a few tenths of a second on a lap time for my DD for not having to replace tires after 5-7K miles. It's not even the cost - I always worry (based on too much experience) about wheel damage when tires are replaced.

But you're just another douche that rolls in and basically says the cars tons of people own here are not that great because "I passed on owning one"

Interesting to hear their impression of the comp M3.
I spent 3-4 minutes in the white Quadrifoglio at the NY auto show last year. This one had the lightweight manual carbon seats that were very trick. Definitely provided a favorable first impression.

Plus, it seems that the general consensus from the press is that the ///M3 ZCP is solid car and is marginally the best in class. While these guys like the Alfa more, I've seen other reviews (such as Chris Harris I believe) which found the Alfa to be a notch below the Bimmer. And there's no denying the BMW has a better interior, material quality, build quality, infotainment, residuals, etc. than the Alfa. It's still the superior overall car in my book. |

Concur w a few people here.... just can't get past the fact that it looks like an Infiniti.
Before I picked up my ZCP M4, I test drove the C63S. Crazy good motor, super luxe interior. I was ready to sign for a black over saddle with diamond stitching (freakin gorgeous), sticker price around 92k and the lease was around 1700! Residual value was 43% per MB Financial and the money factor also crappy. That afternoon, I was signing paperwork on my ZCP (81k sticker) and already loving my $900 payment!

This one was at the D.C. auto show. I'd say it's pretty unique in person.

This was a good video but again these two just can't seem help themselves to stay away from juvenile and unimportant ( I was going to use another word but I refrain) comments throughout the whole video. Carlos does such a better job and I can't explain why MT doesn't use him more.
The Alfa seems to have knocked one out of the ballpark though. |

any chance Alfa will offer this in AWD form?
might have to wait for the Selvio, their AWD sounds interesting, powers the rear 100% unless it needs to give traction to the front in which case it can give up to 60% I believe. Wonder how much that cut Ferrari engine will cost to maintain since there is no free maintenance with Alfa. |

All cars (except the C63) posted practically the same lap time. I'm sure if they threw a non-zcp car with standard 18" wheels in there it would probably post the same lap time as well. zcp or non-zcp, it's nice to see the M3 is still the one to beat in this segment |

I find this comical. BMW needs a special special edition to compete with Alfa's standard model...lol.
What then if Alfa releases a "special" model, corsa or whatever then what. Time to accept that performance wise, this is just a better car. I still prefer my M3 and no even a ZCP, because I'm not racing for tenths and I prefer the proven history of the M3. Just pick and enjoy. |

i thought the same thing when test driving the original f80, but with the zcp burble + mpe, it does now have enough character in the sound department to deliver adequate theatre stringing some corners together - no longer is it only a chassis car in the hills |

Everyone gets so excited when there is a car that can compete in the segment. Because everyone wants to see the m3 beaten...
Proves that the m3 and its history is well worth it...

My favourite part was the M3 smoking the C63 on track
If I had a dollar every time someone said "Why didn't you buy a C63 instead?". I'd have 10 dollars

The M3 is still the car to beat in this segment, the M3 is still the king. Funny how some people are saying BMW has lost its way, BMW is doing just fine. The Alfa came out strong from the get go but has not dethroned the M3. It took over 500 horsepower and R compound tires to tie the M3 or just edge it out, the M3 is punching above its weight if you ask me. Out of the group of 4 the M3 is the one with the least amount of power, the more out dated suspension and still manages to impress the way it does. I can't get over that front end on the Alfa or the interior, but I will say it has impressed me more than the c63s or the ATS-v. Either way you see it competition is good, it should help keep BMW on its toes and the others trying to out do BMW.

I am asking myself why Randy had to use the Giulia Q in Drive vs the M3 in manual..Reasons? why to renounce to the right downshift in the right moment ?
