I love all the boring sound comments coming from e92 M3 drivers. My 2011 e92 M3 did sound good, but its bark was much worse than its bite. You wont have that problem with the F8x.

It's quiet, sounds like a 435i pretty much from there. I thought maybe the sound wall insulated us from hearing it well, but then you hear the Atom Ariel rocket out like a beast...so that sucks for the new M4 sound wise.

Wouldn't the S65 be heavier? Haven't certain people been bitching up a storm about weight?

No matter what BMW does with the M3/M4, they can't win with everyone. There are tradeoffs to every decision... they made their choices. I agree the sound has been underwhelming but the more I've seen of this car in action the more obvious it becomes that the performance involved is going to trump everything else.

If that is the case, BMW will be totally vindicated in making the development choices it did.

Comparing those two exhausts makes no sense.

That was awesome and as expected from Tiff the Great! I know though that I can't possibly be the only one waiting for Chris Harris, Carlos Lago, Jason Plato, Vicky B-H, Tim Schrick, Randy Probst and that Dutch guy from Autoblog to put these F8X cars through their paces and publish the commentary and vids!!

I admire how hard Tiff really goes "in the paint." He is hauling some SERIOUS ass at Goodwood.

lol...... only comparing the fact you can hear the exhaust sounds in the environment it was filmed in, so nothing is impeding the M4 from sounding great (if it sounded great...). So net, your future ride will not sound good lol.

I love TZ blue in motion. I'm also digging that front lip and side skirt extensions on the ///M4.

That car looks fantastic in that color, sounds fantastic as most of the people who have actually driven the car have stated and it's obviously a car that can run with some serious competition - Corvette, 991, etc.... I'm excited to finally see it in person.

Right. Have you even heard it in person? I am guessing not. Of course a high pitched wail from a little race car like the Atom is going to sound better in a low quality internet video.

FWIW, the stock exhaust on my e92 M3 was nothing special at all....but you must already know that, having spent 7k on your Akra to improve upon it.

Thanks for sharing rahrah!

This on the other hand, very hard to watch. Some of them can't seem to make that right turn. They seem to misjudge the turn by a lot...
