elisiX's M3 LCI 2.0 Alpine White / Sakhir Orange

Hi all,

Well, after a seemingly long wait, my new M3 has finally arrived at pre-delivery and the X5M has gone to another home. http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1225710

I spent a lot of time debating what color to go with, even considering Individual builds. I realize that the 'white car blackout' thing has been done, but i've never done it so I figured why not go for it this time. Particularly when there are so many cool CF mods you can do with the F80. I'm pretty much decided on the CF rear diffuser and boot lip, though i'm still unsure about the front splitters/lip. I may go with something different which incorporates a GTS like lip on the front without the splitters.

In the end, rather than go Individual I decided to put that money toward modding the car to my liking. I most likely won't make all changes overnight, but over the next year. For now, i'm kicking it off with the M Performance Exhaust which i've read is a minimum requirement on the M3. I won't argue with that.

Still debating whether I will update from iDrive 5 to 6, though it's relatively straight forward and I will likely go down this path. I used to run my ID4 in the X5M with 2/3 map showing traffic, which ID6 cannot do. I'll likely give ID5 a go for a few weeks to see how I like it before updating to ID6. Actually, the thing i'm most disappointed about is the fact that while I bought an LCI 2.0, there is a further update from July builds with the touchscreen and native ID6. It might be a blessing if ID6 sucks though.

I'll follow up with some clearer pictures once I take delivery next Tuesday.

I'm looking forward to seeing the car tomorrow for the first time. Photo's came from my dealer.

It's going to be a painful wait until Tuesday when I pick it up. They had to order in the MPE.

Checked the car out in person myself today

This was the first time I've seen the new black 666 wheels and black LCI headlights.

The difference to pre LCI 2.0 is huge IMO.

You are missing a CF tip on the right side....car looks awesome!!

Thanks for posting this. I have AW on order for my build, and I was beginning to have second thoughts on the color after lurking around people's post of their new cars with different colors. Thanks for reeling me back in!

Alpine White with the silver 666 wheels falls flat.

The LCI2 updates (headlights), combined with this new wheel color change the appearance dramatically.

I'll do my best to get some better pictures this weekend.

Thanks. I went with the 19" wheel option, just wasn't sold on the 666 design as well as the trade off of increased NVH of a 20" set up.

I was also curious how the new headlights look, and they look fantastic with AW. Very glad I opted for ZEC to get the new style lights.

Congrats on the new car and enjoy it in good health!

The car is filthy due to a little rain earlier in the week, and the wheels look infinitely better than this in person - particularly when clean.
