I wouldn't worry about it unless you are having issues starting. Or any shop with proper equipment can perform a load test for you.

HP has no effect on CCA. 60Ah would be fine, 80Ah would be better.

Looks like this battery weighs significantly less than oem for f8x. Is the capacity similar? Looks like I need a new battery as I have been getting some low voltage codes and the control unit opened the protection relay. Jump restarted and is still ok at the moment.
Can you point to the specific battery to order for m4 and current pricing? Thank you. |

We use Autologic for coding, but there might be a way to change battery type in eSys. You'll need to contact the Bimmercode developers to issue a support ticket.

Have tried esys as well. It shows the AH but Ista registration shows it's not correct. Have you double checked your Autologic with ISTA?

If you're simply replacing a stock battery, battery type does not need to be changed - only registered.

Are you installing an OEM battery or Antigravity?

Shouldn't be using Bimmercode as this is for changing the battery type. Use Bimmerlink to register an exact replacement battery.

Best to email the app owner for support since you had an odd reading, as this thread is primarily for Antigravity swaps.
