Remap Insurance

Hi.
Apologies as no doubt I am going over old ground but just paid for a 2018 M4 Comp and will pick up in a couple of weeks. Really excited, wanted an M4 for years.

I have current 350z insurance with Aviva and they have upgraded. Taking account of mid-year change I am under £400 which is amazing... However, I read online that they do not insure remapped cars which is a route I was considering. I don't want to check with them for obvious reasons...

Would like to know, for those that own up to it, where are the best deals to be had with remapped cars? Adrian flux is an obvious choice, anyone else?

Thanks.. Stoked to finally be here...

You can also safely experiment via the comparison sites - most of them let you declare various mods inc mapping. Whether the insurers that then come back are cheaper than the specialists I don’t know but it does give a good way to see the true cost of declaring mods.

Thanks for replies. Will follow up. Already did a check on comparison site. Interestingly Admiral who I have a separate multicar insurance with never changed their price. Not at all convinced the comparison site handover of info included Mod as when switching to Admiral site there was no mention. Circa £1000.
