I don't think the general consensus will change regarding tyres for the F8X.
These will likely spin under WOT, but will be the best blend of performance, everyday livability, aquaplane resistance, tread life, etc. I was hoping for them to compete with the likes of the RE-11 and AD08R's, but I guess we'll have to wait for the next iteration of the PSC2 for that |

Interrestingly, Michelin has stayed away from the Extreme Performance tire category and does not have any offerings in that segment.

so I called Tirerack, and unfortunately they are not carrying or wont carry all the sizes... specifically, they wont have the 295/35 R19 (M01) size - which is for a mercedes application, available, eventhough the michelin site says it should be:
http://www.michelinman.com/US/en/tir...-sport-4s.html I'm gonna need tires in the next 4-6 weeks, so I'm debating whether or not to go: MPSS (like now): 265/35 (M0) + 295/35 * or P4S: 265/35 + either 285/35 or 295/30, eventhough neither is the best size all things considering.

the other 2 options considered for the P4S:
305/30 R19... 285/35 R19...

FWIW, they are not showing on the European Sites that have other sizes in stock now. Have you call your local Mercedes Benz Parts Deparment to see if these are available directly from MB (or perhaps they will not be available on MB OEM Models until MY2018). |

anyone know if the 295/30 ZR20 will fit the ZCP package? wouldn't mind that tiny bit extra rubber. i know the old 295/30 for the M5 should fit it fine - but was looking at setting up a PS4S on all 4 corners

Im doing the 295/30/20 4S but on an aftermarket rim which gives 11mm less inner clearance and 15mm less outter clearance than stock. |

The 295/30R20 PSS of the M5 was a perfect fit and provided a decent improvement because it was designed specifically for a 10" wide wheel and has a significantly wider contact than the CP 285/30R20 PSS.

To me this would mean as long as the tire is in spec on the rim it should be able to use its contact patch. |

yeah, I saw that, but I was hoping for the 295/35 M01 merc one to be available, but looks like it's not.
I'm down to either:
