I read the threads. It gets annoying when people just keep repeating the same question and don't contribute anything.

Your answer is, The majority of people (From reading the threads) have been ZERO. By far the majority have been covered under warranty.

Quit reading the threads.
Quit answering questions not directed to you.

Since these things bother you.

I?m not sure what you cannot understand about this specific event.

I asked about price.. you chimed in... AFTER he made a thread about the cost and provided information and photos.

Completely pointless considering the timeline.

Since you like looking back at threads.

Do this, and I?ll never ask anything about pricing.

Find me TWO, just two of these events that have cost even within $500 of each other.

Otherwise, it?s an extremely fair question.

BMW Quotes 7.5 -10 Hours Labour.

That is to replace a hub crank that has no damage. The ones higher than this had damage to other parts. The worst one I saw said 15-30 hours.

How long is a piece of string. There are a few people still working on fixes. So if the dual keyed one works, should be 7.5-10 hours to fit it. Hopefully it proves a fix once and for all to put this matter to bed.

BTW I can find you at least two that are within $500. MINE and the guy that just posted the spun the first time. Both were ZERO. That makes two within $500. You can stop asking now. Hahahaha

That was never my question.

Since you cannot do this:

Find me TWO, just two of these events that have cost even within $500 of each other.

Point is made.

I?m done going back and forth with you.

Enjoy your car, and the rest of your day.

I did do this mine and Cloud. Both Zero. Both within $500 of each other. Have a good night.

My point, which you missed was, most people PAID Zero. They asked the dealer what it Would have cost them, that's why the variance. Its a dealer guestimating. Most people Paid Zero.

Touché.

My fault for not excluding warranty work.

That was my point. Most got warranty, but asked how much it would have cost them, had it not have been covered. That's why I think the variance. Just dealer best guess, not really putting much thought in there answer when its warranty.
