Car is currently at Willow Springs Raceway.

Temps in the 90's today, first owner testing the heat limits.

...and he'll put to rest all of the arguments about heat soak, limp modes and turbo hoopla coming from the pro-E9X/V8 crowd.

Track was a blast. I only had 100 miles on the car, so I wasn't completely thrashing the car... If I had my track wheels on, that's a different story.

Suspension feels great. Very tight. Smooth. And flat.

Power delivery from 1,000 rpm to 5500 rpm is amazing. 6,000 to 7300 rpm are a little slower. I'm guessing heat soak or the cats are choking up the car.

Off the line this car is BRUTAL.

Josh, do you have M-Adaptive or the passive suspension? You don't have extended leather either, right?

Did you find yourself short shifting to stay in the power, like some have mentioned in reviews? Heat soak could have been a problem, it was a hot one out there.
