ordering m3 experience 500 over invoice no dealer fees

hey guys I just finished putting in my deposit to order a 2016 m3 cause I couldn't find a 15. I called serveral dealers in my home state florida and georgia and they had a ridiculous dealer fee like 799 and the discounts were minimal like 2%. I got the dealer info from another post here:
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=504

heres his facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/clintbmw

i'm not afilliated with this dealer at all just trying to help others who want to order and not get royally ripped off. best salesperson i've worked with so far very straight forward and easy going. I will be doing a pcd in south carolina its about 10 hour drive so I don't have to wait for shipping.

Do you have actual numbers?
Or did they just give you an allocation and state 500 over invoice as per your specs, once the prices are released for 2016s?

well he took down my 2015 spec. my build was alpine white, manual trans, harman kardon, and adaptive suspension, clothe seats. msrp 64825 he told me i think 60795 plus 500. true car says invoice is 59k for base plus my options sounds about right. no allocations yet i'm 5th in line and once prices are released he is giving 500 over invoice per my spec on the 2016

I am one of the people who placed an order with him, number 3 on the list. His prices are $500 over invoice, as the above mentioned no dealer fees. He doesn't bs or play any games, very straight shooter, easy to deal with. Whatever the price of the 2016 + your options he's only going to add $500 over invoice. Being in California + shipping it was a steal for me.

That's great to hear. My concern would be that he can take deposits on any number of M's he wants but it all comes down to allocations. If I put down a deposit with him now and there are over 10 people with deposits before me, I would get stuck in the never ending wait for an allocation to open up and next thing I know it is Jan 2016 when I finally order the car.

Any thoughts?

You may very well be correct. My understanding is they are a pretty large dealership which should mean large allocation. What that means in terms of actual number I have no idea. It would be a good question to ask him. He's got at least 5 queued himself but allocation is per dealer so I'd wonder how many in total they've got queued up. He appears pretty straightforward so never hurts to ask.

If he doesn't have an immediate allocation in the summer he would tell you the truth.

Apparently his dealership was able to work a deal with BMW NA to get more allocations than normal. They are a massive dealership and had a lot of 15's. In fact, they were getting additional allocations for 15's up until last week because they sell so many BMW's. I would not worry about putting a deposit down and not getting your car. Just tell Clint when you need it by, if he can do it he will. If not, he will tell you he cannot and will not take your deposit.

If I ordered a car though a Cali dealer, would it have to get delivered there and shipped to Ny or is it possible to have it shipped to an east coast dealer?

I ordered through Clint as well, he is in CO and I am in FL. I am doing PDC pickup in South Carolina. I believe your options are either that or it gets shipped to the dealer you order from and then private transport to your location.

When I order I'll see if dealers are willing to work with me. If not I'll order from Clint or someone else and have it shipped to SC. Drive home would help break in period.

Actually using a dealer far from me may not work because I plan on trading my S4 in unless I can find a buyer.
