Haha... the registration is easy.. I did mine across the country in the mail even had a new plate shipped. I think dealerships forget the DMV wants your money sometimes, I just say I need X,Y B paperwork and the Bill of Landing and I will take care of the taxes/title.

You said Priority 1 which is a good thing.. You should be able to start tracking it here shortly. You can call BMW of NA with your order number and get your production number for the 1-800 prompt system. An follow the status

In the future, consider Yakima and Spokane. Their deals have always been much better and you stay within the state.

Registering a car is super easy and it is another way of dealer intimidating you.

We have way too many people moving to this state from other countries that are not familiar with the purchase process. Seattle and Bellevue (dealt with them all) take full advantage of these folks.

I am definitely calling Portland for my next purchase.

+1 for Spokane. Got my 435 from them and got a great, honest, straight forward deal from them. However, the CA I worked with (who was awesome) has moved on to more lucrative business in the uhh...plant industry so I'm not sure how it would go now. You mentioned Yakima, I didn't even know there WAS a dealer in Yakima and I lived there for 16 years. Was it Hahn?

Yes, it was Hahn. I bought my 335 coupe from them. They did ED invoice over $500 in 2006 when the car was brand new and hasn't even hit the state side yet. Both Seattle and Bellevue laughed at me for even asking for a discount.

Hahn ended up selling 6 more 335s to my friends and fam. Not sure if Hahn still does BMW but there is a new dealer in Tricities now.

I hear ya. I've never considered Seattle and Bellevue just for that reason. As to the Tri-Cities dealer, I can say that its a very nice space! Super easy to get to, exit off the freeway and boom your there. Perfect for test drives Stopped in on my way back from visiting family to take pictures of their AY M4 (I'm going through the excruciating color selection process a year in advance) and ended up talking to the owner for a while, name was Ralph I believe (I may have got it wrong so apologize if he's reading this haha). Seemed like a really nice guy, owns lots of BMWs (alpina, Z8 ect). Got to take some pictures of the I8 they had. Considering getting an M4 from them.
