No such thing as a '14 M3, lol. I can't recall mine, but i think it was ~460 every 6 months.

My E92 M3 was about 150/mo. Just call them back and talk to someone else.

USAA 0.99% financing
Service Credit Union 0.99% financing
NFCU 1.49%

So I went with USAA 60 months $50k

USAA has had that rate for awhile now. It's nice now that you can keep money in the bank, earn more interest on it than what you will spend on interest for your loan. A win win.

But the 72 month rate is higher in USAA - 1.99%

Where did you guys get that rate? I'm not seeing it online? I'm assuming I need to call.

I ordered mine in Jan and the order has been accepted as well as the payment but haven't seen any activity since aside from an email saying an expected build date in June.

I've read it is possible to avoid paying sales tax (legally) on a new car if you are a resident of FL (or any state with a similar policy) and register/tag the car in that state with the caveat that you don't drive the car in that state for 6 months. This is assuming you are a resident of a state with this policy and based in another state.

Does anyone know if this is a legitimate and legal way to register your car, and if so, what is the process? If it's possible, that would be icing on the cake to ordering through PCS.

If your state of residency has a military clause (mine is WA and stationed in tx) you basically show your orders and LES, and register via the WA DOL and you are tax exempt. I assume it is similar with other states.

Thanks! I'll have to look into it. Hopefully FL has a similar clause.

It does and I have done it. FL basically says if you don't have to pay sales tax as long as you don't drive the car on a FL road within 6 months of purchase.

Yep. Same thing here. BMW NA told me that the tracking will become available after that VIN gets assigned for shipping to US. And that happens towards the end of the production.

Cool, looks like we will be getting our M's in SA at the same time, I will probably be camping outside the door the night before it is released!

That's cool bro. Hope my vin trickles down soon. Confirmed build date is next month so it will be coming sometime soon I'm sure. If you can only track your vin once it's put in for shipping to the states that would explain why I could never track my 135i. I took delivery in Europe as I'm stationed here.
