Depends what production slot your dealer has available.

Ordered my 328 on 11/14, went into production a day or 2 later.I'm in south Florida. Any ideas on timeframe? When I call the tracking hotline, it says production is expected to be completed on 11/26. Driving me nuts! Any timeframe insight appreciated. Thanks.

I can't see the Track Your Order option on the bmwusa website. I have registered and logged in, but it doesn't look like your screenshot. Instead it looks like the following:

Tracking really is one of the best parts of getting your new car. Agonizing, but so exciting as you see things progress. I was so stoked when I had the webcam up watching my ship sailing into Charleston and knowing my ride was on that ship... amazing

Was bored today so I created a quick production status shortcut phone number...

You can add this to your contact list and then it will call and automatically dial the options and production number so you don't have to do anything...

1 (800) 831-1117,2,,,XXXXXXX,1

where XXXXXXX is your production number....
If you have a VIN I suppose you can do the same and replace the last 1 for a 2 for VIN

On the iphone you need to create a new contact as you can't type "pause" on the keypad directly.

1) go to contacts
2) touch + to create new contact
3) enter 1 (800) 831-1117,2,,,XXXXXXX,1 (replacing XXXXXXX with your prod #)
4) touch "Done"

the "," is what on the iphone shown as "pause" and you can access this buttons by clicking the +*# on the bottom left when editing the contact number.

Now you have "one-touch" production status updates :-D

This is actually pretty awesome. Thanks for taking the time to work out the pauses and timing. I confirmed it is working (I used Android) and have now saved it my contacts list.

Now that allocations have been released to dealers, I've copied this reference guide here for all future M3/M4 owners to track their babies!

You were'nt lying when you said "ultimate guide" lol. So if I get this clear once I drop off my car at one of the designated locations in Europe it should be back in California waiting for me at the dealer in about 2-3 Weeks?

I believe damage does not need to be reported to the dealer unless it exceeds 3% of the car's value, so not sure the OP could know that.

Awesome. Now I can call them 12 times a day in the same amount of time it takes me to manually dial them 3 times. Bravo.
For the iphone, I had to put a couple more pauses between the phone number and 2 though since I always get a ring.

I've done two ED in the past 4 years. Both took 7 weeks after drop off to get to LA.
