Skid school

Hello Guys,

This is my first time owning a powerful car, I want to understand the basics first and probably do some track days later on. Till then, Traction control is ON I can see that Stevens Advanced Driver Training seems to be the option around here.

Do you guys know of any other place? Have you guys attended any classes like that and did it improve your driving?

Thanks!

The Boston/New Hampshire BMW CCA host Advanced Driving Skills classes a few times throughout the year. I did one a while back and thought it was very informative and a ton of fun (i.e., if you don't spin out on your first try on the skid pad...you weren't trying hard enough). Especially worth it if you're thinking about doing some track days down the road.

I'd second the suggestion for Boston CCA HPDE schools and would also say that the BMW M-school is a pretty great option as well. The two days I spent down in Spartanburg were not only great fun, but gave me a tremendous amount of confidence in driving my M4 in a "spirited" manner.

I had Euro MDM coded into my car. It tells me have a little fun but won't let me get completly out of line.
