(updated pics 5/18) Santorini Blue M4 (HRE, Akra, BMW Perf, EAS,iND)
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Pictures as usual don't give this color justice, it looks amazing in person. Thank you EAS for the pics! So much better then mine I like always, went to EAS and tom @ eas dialed me in with all my parts. I took all the parts from my Grigio Medio M4 and put them on here. I HIGHLY recommend them everyone, this is my 10th M car all of them I have had built at EAS, never had one issue. Mods: -HRE p101 20" Satin Black (don't know specs, look back at my last few M4 builds I post the specs -H&R Springs -Mach Schnell Valve controller (my favorite little mod still!) -iND painted reflectors (they are the BEST, color like always was PERFECT) -BMW Performance front lip and splitters -BMW Performance spoiler (installed at port) -BMW Performance CF DCT shifter set -BMW Performance diffuser -Akrapovic EVO system with CF tips -ER Catless DPs Had it coded at EAS as well: -mirror open/close with unlock/lock -LED brightness turned up -5 time turn signal blink -Amber light removal -tow hitch camera (THIS IS AWESOME!! when you back up into a curb you can see straight down instead of only seeing straight back with the backup camera.) (see post #25 page 2 for pics of this) had a few other things but I can't think of the rest of the item. there was SO many choices I could have sat there for hours going through all them. ***Update 5/18 I sent my HRE p101 into HRE to have them refinished in Gloss black. see thread here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1495596 awesome experience and highly recommend them. one of the hottest looking M4s I've seen hands down.
Is there any reason you didn't opt for the Carbon Fiber Mirror caps since you have the carbon fiber front splitters / rear diffuser? I'm finding it hard to decide whether to go for the carbon fiber mirror caps or leave them stock as they match the car's color. Your thoughts on this? |

Ya know the CF mirror caps have never really been a direction that I wanted to pursue. I always liked the contrast of the gloss black and the body color. Plus my last two M4s (Grigio and this one) I wanted as much of the color showing as possible. The contrast just worked for me. NOW I have seen some set ups with the CF caps and it looks awesome, especially on lighter color cars such as white. I say if you have any urge to add them ADD THEM, they will look awesome

PS: I contacted you guys and spoke with a gentleman who told me that you won't be able to ship those parts to my US Freight Forwarding address since I would be using my international credit card which has a Dubai Billing Address so I will have to buy the parts from the dealership here in Dubai who charge twice as much |

Yas is def lighter, also yas has a metallic finish, Santorini has no metallic in it, which I prefer when it comes to paint.
